Abstract

The course “Biodiversity of Parasites” provides an in-depth exploration of the fascinating biological and morphological diversity of parasites across the tree of life. Focusing on the unique structural and functional adaptations that define parasitic organisms, this course examines their classification and anatomical features that enable them to exploit a wide range of hosts. Students will study the morphology of major parasite groups, their development and modes of transmission from a biological perspective.
