The course “Biodiversity of Parasites” provides an in-depth exploration of the fascinating biological and morphological diversity of parasites across the tree of life. Focusing on the unique structural and functional adaptations that define parasitic organisms, this course examines their classification and anatomical features that enable them to exploit a wide range of hosts. Students will study the morphology of major parasite groups, their development and modes of transmission from a biological perspective. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the distinctive biological traits that characterize parasites. This course equips students with essential knowledge for further studies in parasitology and other biological sciences.en_US
