This document contains the lecture notes for Reinforced Concrete courses intended for third-year undergraduate students in Public Works (L3PW) and Civil Engineering (L3 CE). It enables students to acquire knowledge of the physical and mechanical characteristics of reinforced concrete and to learn how to design sections subjected to simple internal forces (tension, compression, and simple bending) according to the BAEL 91 (revised 99) and CBA93 codes. The objective of this handout is to present the calculation methods for basic structural elements in reinforced concrete. It should be noted that mastering the content of these lectures requires prior knowledge of Strength of Materials and Construction Materials.en_US
