Abstract: In the digital age, the development of the web and technologies is profoundly transforming the way we interact with computer systems. In many fields, the design and evaluation of interactive systems and web applications have become major issues. These systems are intended for a wide range of users, from novices to IT experts, as well as from regular users to occasional ones. To ensure an optimal user experience, it is essential to adopt appropriate approaches derived from the field of Human-Machine Interface (HMI). This multidisciplinary field focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive interfaces, integrating principles from ergonomics, cognitive sciences, and interaction design. In this context, the module "Human-Machine Interface (HMI)" offered to students in the Computer Science Bachelor’s program, specializing in "Computer Systems" aims to provide them with the necessary skills to design interfaces that meet user needs. It enables them to adopt a human-centered approach to software development, considering task requirements, usage contexts, and hardware constraints.
