Abstract: In their final stage of the academic career, Master students often encounter enormous
challenges and difficulties in getting their research well completed. Their sense of excitement
for graduation coupled the huge responsibility awaiting for them is quite overwhelming.
Being in such situation may lead to lower quality of master’s dissertations.
Conducting Master’s dissertations in EFL context poses unique opportunities and
challenges, not only for students, but also for supervisors. In many cases, students struggle to
put their ideas into meaningful and researchable topics due to the lack of experience and
practice. Supervisors, on the other hand, may find it difficult to balance their roles as guide,
feedback provider with the development of research skills their students are expected to
possess.
To ensure successful research from topic selection to viva voce, Master students are
supposed to develop a strong understanding of the diverse layers of research methodology in

Abstract: سعت الحكومة إلى تقييم التنمية المحلية ورد الاعتبار
لمناطق الظل والتي تم إحصاؤها بعد التحيين إلى أزيد من
13 ألف منطقة، و قد عرفها إبراهيم مراد مستشار
الرئيس المكلف بمناطق الظل "على أنها تلك المناطق
النائية البعيدة كل البعد عن مراكز الحياة". حيث تكمن
آليات ترقية مناطق الظل وإدماجها للمساهمة في التنمية
المحلية المستدامة في الاستثمار في الأنشطة الإقتصادية
المنتجة للثروات (السياحة، الصناعة التقليدية، الفلاحة
والصناعة) والملائمة لكل منطقة عن طريق مراعاة
الخصوصية التي تميزها. والارتكاز على إشراك أفراد
المجتمع المحلي عن طريق تشجيعهم لإنشاء مقاولات
ومؤسسات مصغرة وكذا النشاط العائلي فيها من خلال
الحرف وخلق فرص عمل، وإدماج أدوات ملائمة لتمويل
التنمية، بما يتوافق وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المحلية
المستدامة، والذي يساهم في الحد من الفقر وإزالة الفوارق
بين مناطق الظل والمناطق الحضارية، و كذلك من خلال
الاعتماد على الموارد المحلية المتاحة والممكنة والعمل
على بناء نظام اقتصادي مستقل عن المركز يعتمد على
خصوصياته،بالإضافة إلى تحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية
بإشراك أفراد المجتمع المحلي في التنمية وتحسين نوعية
حياتهم. والتوجه نحو اقتصاد المعرفة من خلال ربط
الجامعة والميدان الاقتصادي وجعلها رافد للتنمية المحلية
وعلى هذا الأساس نطرح الإشكاليية التالية:
